Update on “The juice ain’t worth the squeeze”

I am adding this update on another reason a person may not want to get a medical marijuana card in Ohio. This is a copy/paste from the website of a local marijuana club.

Does Having a Card Protect Me from Losing My Job if Tested?

Sadly, the answer is no. A medical marijuana card does not protect you from punishment or termination by your employer. Some states have seen lawsuits or taken measures to protect employees from drug testing and penalties for using medical marijuana, but Ohio did not write any of these provisions into their bill.

This is why the federal government needs to take pot off of the schedule 1 list. What is a person to do if they need this drug for valid medical reasons such as chronic pain?
